I love how she can change reality by imposing her will on it. Turning common space into her own personal space, just as an example. Although if it did have specific ownership, it would be to the cats who live there - it's not like she ever goes into it, except to pass through and occasionally frantically clean, spray the worst-smelling odor-covering substance known to humanity around, and throw in the occasional cat toy, lest anyone who doesn't live here realize she keeps her supposedly-beloved kitties living alone in their own filth almost all of the time.

The part about the clinic would be another example of her reality-changing powers. You know, I think there's a specific word for a woman with such abilities. But the term for her that comes to mind doesn't begin with a "w".

My housemate needs to take her TV back from the living room so she has something to watch. If you have any suggestions for a cheap TV or have one you don't use and would be willing to lend, please let me know.

I wish I'd thought of this sooner.

If anyone sees Shae, would you please tell her I need to talk to her? She's not been responding to e-mail since I first sent her one on Saturday. Thank you.

ETA: She has been found :).

It's amazing how much better a search for scientific information goes when you use technical terms (in this case, trying to figure out how HPV causes cancer, the magic word was "mechanism").

It's really, really hard to find part-time work in my field. I should've been a phlebotomist. Maybe I can convince a doctor's office to let me be a receptionist or something, to get used to interacting with patients.

I GMed for the first time last night (D&D 3.5, Thieves' Guild/Urban game). It went fairly well. Now I just have to keep coming up with things every week. I'm glad I already said I would stop running as soon as school starts, doing game and my school work and whatever job I end up getting would severely hose me.

I now have my schedule for the first semester of NESA. I opted for Medical Qi-Gong for my Chinese PE class, over Tai Chi and Acu-Yoga. I have no classes before 10:30 and I get three day weekends - not too shabby.

I really need to get the blinds I bought on Monday on the windows. A bit of privacy (and less glare on the TV) downstairs and the ability to sleep past 7:30 await me doing so. I need to stop putting it off already.
