I did not touch the fiddle between clinic and my evening class, but when my evening class was canceled I came home and immediately tuned up all the strings and replaced the A string. I had just finished tuning the new A when my companion came home and we started doing evening routine stuff, so no playing tonight. That's OK, I'm still on the "do something wicked easy" week. Thus far my trigger of walking in the door is holding up pretty well, hopefully it'll get pretty solid over the next few weeks.
