Introducing Rock Band, the game where you combine drums, guitar, and voice for video gaming goodness. I'm sad about their choice of systems, although there is a logic to it (assuming that the PS3 can use PS2-input devices).

Well, Guitar Hero II got ported to the Xbox 360, and it looks like Rock Band will be on both PS3 and 360 -- and console exclusives from third-party developers are getting more and more rare (Oblivion's on both PS3 and 360 now, GTA IV will be on 360, Devil May Cry 4 won't be a PS3 exclusive, MGS4 may not be...). Seems like Rock Band'd be such a natural fit for the Wiimote that they may eventually bring it over, especially with enough demand from users, another factor that's starting to matter more (did you hear about the Bioshock petition?). But on PS3 and 360 they can get away with charging $60 for it, and they only need to develop one control scheme, so the porting effort is minimized; for the Wii they need to work with a completely different interface paradigm, and scale down the poly counts and texture sizes, as well as doing the other porting work.
