Wishers, Theurgists, and Fatalists: A Self-Aware RPG

The Jewel of All Desires, which contains the Great Maker and thus has the power to create the world you desire, has disappeared. You are part of a group of Wishers (who share the world as it could be), Theurgists (who forge the truth of the world), and Fatalists (who know all that is, was, and will be), and. . .

check it out

Looks neat. Definitely snagged me with this:
You
We will not explain who you are at length. You should already know who you are. If you are an object or a philosophical zombie, you should avoid playing this game if at all possible.

I almost quoted that exact bit in my post, but trying to summarize WTF was more entertaining to me. Almost as much as trying to figure out which of the three types each of my friends are ;P.

Oh I'm definitely a Fatalist. As if there were any doubt.

Now, when you say 'self-aware', do you mean that the RPG itself has sentience, and is aware of being played? 'cause that'd be cool and creepy and make me REALLY not want to read the rules, because I would feel a bit odd being the substrate which a big, sentient RPG was inhabiting.

Um, that interpretation might or might not apply. It would make sense, FWIW. But I have not noted any ill effects of reading The Never-Ending Story WTF as of yet; if the world has ended when you read this response, that might be a sign not to read it. . .

Been skimming through this tonight and...WOW.

I don't think I know enough people who could pull this off who all exist in one place.
