Look, Mother Nature, it's not reasonable that you falling asleep at the wheel and needing to rush to meet your spring rain quota should mean that *we* suffer. Yeesh.

Especially when I did the stupid and left my lights on overnight on Saturday. It's surprisingly difficult to recharge a car battery while running lights, wipers, and defogger when you're going on streets with tons of stoplights (idling is not much good for recharging). Hopefully the nigh-hour-long drive from Allston to Waltham via 20 -> 117 -> 126 -> 2 with my lights off most of the time (I felt very vulnerable, a feeling not helped by the fact that I was cut off by a Volvo (there were cones in its lane, which I couldn't see through the Volvo, and he didn't bother to signal) I was trying to pass earlier even when I had my lights on, resulting in screeching brakes and a nigh-rear-ending, stupid fucking Volvo) let it charge back up. Part of the problem might be the positive wire-end (not the lead) is really loose, despite the bolt being on as tight as it gets. I might have to swap out the wire-end, but that's going to have to wait for the rain to let up.
