Cingular
T-Mobil
Looks like T-Mobil FTW. Now to call them and see if I can get the ball rolling on getting my number transferred to them without having to pay for service I won't be using.
Cingular
- Gave the wrong answer to the "selling records to the government" question
- Unknown quality of coverage
- Cheapest plan is $40 for 450 minutes + 5000 nights/weekend + unlimited calls to other Cingular phones, which is way more minutes than I will ever use even if I never call a Cingular customer
T-Mobil
- Gave the right answer to the selling-records question (see link above)
- Coverage kinda sucky at my house but pretty decent at the other places I end up most often
- Cheapest plan is $30 for 300 minutes + unlimited roaming/LD/nights-weekends, which is still more minutes than I'll use
