Some Politics

The first is, I got my wish. From the sounds of it, Obama went with "brilliant and mentored by Larry Summers, but without the need to piss people off just to watch the fireworks" (or as Skaven noted, "like
popetom", assuming he was also a brilliant economist). That sounds good to me - much as I like
popetom I don't think I'd make him the closest thing to "in charge of the economy" that we've got ;P.
The second is, I've minorly argued over with a few folks over whether Obama is a Boomer or a GenXer. Apparently there's something in the middle - Generation Jones. After waiting patiently to be noticed at all, it's their turn to shine.
