I can't say anything since despite not having a motorcycle license (nor a useful sense of balance), I want a Ural Retro.
We're also conveniently ignoring the fact it'd cost more than I've ever spent on a car, is a russian made copy of a 1930s BMW, and can't sustain highway speeds.
Welding isn't hard to do at all-- even if it's aluminum. That seat can certainly come down a solid inch. Oh wait-- you didn't need me to say that, did you?
