My companion has joined the ever-swelling ranks of Gentlefolk of Leisure (that's the unemployed to y'all who don't ride motorcycles). So if you know of a job for someone who enjoys working with people on the phone in a manner that doesn't involve cold-calling and also is good with computers (first-tier IT customer service for example), please let me know.

Nothing specific, but one thing I've come to realize is what a wide variety of jobs there are at hospitals and medical facilities. Might be worth checking the sites of local hospitals for internal IT positions or other things that might be tolerable.
