Job Hunt Continues

I'm still job-hunting, and expanding my search to include medical front desk/administrative work (the administrative side of what I do for my own practice, so it's something I want more focused experience in anyway) as well as biotech, and part-time just about anything within my abilities. Please let me know if you or anyone you know might want to hire me.

A Request

My companion has joined the ever-swelling ranks of Gentlefolk of Leisure (that's the unemployed to y'all who don't ride motorcycles). So if you know of a job for someone who enjoys working with people on the phone in a manner that doesn't involve cold-calling and also is good with computers (first-tier IT customer service for example), please let me know.

GoL Assistance

Not me, a close friend of mine. You can stop panicking[1] now ;).

He's a computer-oriented (hardware and software) customer support guy who recently got laid off when his previous employer failed to complete an expected merger. Don't suggest working for Comcast, he did that for a while but the sales quota drove him up a wall (yes, their customer support folks have sales quotas. Wicked retahded). If you know someone in the Allston-Brighton/Boston/Cambridge area (he's reliant on public transportation) who is looking for that type of support person, drop me a comment or e-mail me at my LJ address ([username]@livejournal.com, without brackets).

[1] Completely orthogonal: I just realized how ridiculous that spelling is. Panic becomes panicking? What, is the "k" there for emotional support?
