Laptop Functional

brynndragonAround 11:30 I got a call from Steve, the IBM tech. He asked me if I'd be ready for him in 15 minutes (!!!). I told him I was at work but had the laptop with me, and he agreed to come by (I think he must've come by at some point to deal with the Thinkpads my company has, since he recognized the company's name). An hour later, Vincent is fully functional again and I've gotten a few questions about hardware answered (he showed me how to access the primary RAM, although with the gig I got it's kinda a moot point) as well as a suggestion for where to get a no-cd crack for CivIV. All is well.
