It's never easy sleeping in someone else's bed

The AC in our hotel room in Ft Lauderdale doesn't so much cool the air as suck all of the moisture out of it. This woke me up at 5 AM due to being overheated and feeling dessicated. The heartburn from my rather late dinner of fantastic diner food isn't helping matters. So I'm sitting outside looking out at the pool. There are colored lights here and there shining on the palms the surround it, so the view is kinda neat. I'm half-debating going for a dip, but for now the humidity in the air is just enough to help me feel better. I think I'm going to head back in and try sleeping some more.
