A Haiku for The Newest Departed Member of Brynnistan

[brynndragon]

I will take offense
A victim of believers
Why do you hate me?

And with a new banning in Brynnistan we have a new rule: Don't tell me what anyone other than you thinks unless you're a mind-reader. And if you're a mind-reader, go get your million dollars already.

EDIT: Presented for your amusement value: a love note to yours truly. For those coming from said love letter, now that you've read my gloating of the glorious victory of banning someone I well and truly like from my journal, you may wish to read the post that started it all.

If you're referring to whom I think you are, you did right. I made that mistake, and while I didn't get caught up in it, a commentstorm followed.

I put it down to the fact that some people simply like to hear themselves speak.

I think brynndragon's got the right of it -- he saw offense to his religion (i.e. "skepticism", whatever that is), and reason went out the window. The ironic parts are that reason is the basis of his religion, and that she was talking about how this very thing happening is annoying. It was like an awesome, recursive train wreck.
